Stina is one of Croatia’s top wineries. Stina’s home is the island of Brač off the Croatian coast within sight of the Adriatic Sea. The name and label were inspired by the world-famous white Brač stone, which has inspired sculptors, painters, poets and authors for centuries. The label is a blank canvas meant to inspire you to leave your mark, write a poem, leave a message or paint with a drop of red wine.
In 2009, Mr. Jako Andabak leased a cellar from the Agricultural Cooperative of Bol. Immediately began a complete renovation of the cellar, state of the art equipment brought in and a total revitalization of the vineyards. 50 ha of new vineyards were planted with indigenous varietals such as the intense, full-bodied, and polished Plavac mali, a red wine that evokes its Zinfandel heritage. The Stina portfolio of wines features the flagship Stina Plavac mali, native Dalmatian whites like Posip and Vugava, as well as the dessert wine Prosek.
